People also tend to not know how to punish it at lower ranks which means you have no reason not to use it. Try not to abuse it because it'll distract you from learning proper fundamentals. It will destroy unprepared opponents but is a bad habit. He also has the infamous Snake Edge (D/F+3). He lacks certain tools that most of the cast has but other unique-to-him moves make up for that. Just remember the things I mentioned above. With that said, some characters are harder to learn Tekken with such as Steve and Hwoarang. You'll learn how to play using any character. Playing a character you like is more important since you're primarily playing to have fun. His block punish weakness will become apparent to you since you played Kazuya, but you'll discover new realms of pleasure in utilizing his offence.Įdit: You'll also notice that his Oki (compared to Mishimas) is not the best. He's a scrub killer at lower ranks, but is awkward and you need to practice at higher ranks. Ws1 can output more than 70 damage with a bit of practice and WS2 (Fisherman's Slam) is an 89 damage combo with huge wall carry.īasically, blocking hellsweeps, Snake Edges and Demo man like moves is murder with Bryan. His B4 into jet upper at the wall is 87 damage alone. And his wall carry/pressure is the best in the game even without taunting. Has so many CH launchers I can't even count all of them. (Although unfortunately, in season 2 it has less pushback). It's hit confirmable, rarely goes punished due to follow up, does very good damage when it connects, and keeps opponents from stepping. ( Though depending on positioning you'll have to adjust the combo.)Įven though his D/F+1 is horrible for neutral, it's one of the best pokes in the game. You can also input this from QCF+4 SS cancel. Has SS1 which is a really fast high, safe on block launcher.
Bryan fury tekken 4 plus#
Has B1 which is plus on block and a CH launcher. Very evasive, huge damage on normal hit and over 70 damage on CH. Has a safe on block, mid Orbital with great range and extremely tight whiff punish window. Has probably one of the best mid pokes in 3+4 which is also a CH launcher into insane damage. With that said, he's a beast in mid range.

He doesn't have a generic D/F1 to help in neutral, his D/F2 is minus on block, etc etc. That's why Bryans tend to roam in yellows where Orbital and Snake Edge spamming works. Maximizing Bryan's block punishment is hard and takes a lot of time. Even though he has a standing i14 safe launcher, it has range issues and is i14 only if you buffer from block.(Identifying -14 moves and buffering Jet Upper in a live match is another story by itself.) His long range punish is a F,f+2 which is also challenging. His mix-ups/pokes are poor and block punishment is really bad before -15. His main pressure low is a QCB which is awkward to input. His high damage combos have very tight execution but are not essential.
